yeah, they do look pretty good for a spyder. if those grips are rubber like they look, i bet its pretty comfy. looks like a step in the right direction.

Wow, they look a lot like ICDs Freestyles. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction for Spyder.

Its about time Kingman got rid of those goofy feednecks that required a straight elbow. Hopefully they also got rid of the offset bottomline mount. The milling could use more work though, its doesn't look smooth.

I know this is odd to say but this makes me want a spyder.

i really kinda want one now, but knowing its still a spyder makes me feel weird. they actually look damn good IMO.

Hmm... I'll bet they still retail for about $300.

Any chance the frames on those will "revive" the SpyderMag market? Ever since PneuMags became popular, SpyderMags have kind of faded.

I think this means kingman has a new flagship (No more electras?) :D

Just wait another month. :D

Kingman's CAD people must have very stable jobs.

It looks to me like a cross between a Timmy and a Dye. I think that Spyder is finally making a step in the right direction with these. I like the way they look. And, if I am lucky, the grips will fit my DM3.

it would be really cool if spyder became a high end producer, but that would need some manufacturing changes... they would be up there with timmys...

it reminds me of an angel.

Nice to see the rebirth of the EM1, so to speak.

Judging from what I see in the pictures, they are your typical electro-pnuematic hammer operated poppet marker. Not what I expected as far as asthetics, but certainly as far as the technical side of things...

Edit- I am basing my assumptions on several observations. One, being the position of the frame relative to the VA. Never before has the frame been touching it. Also, there appears to be a slight "inset" on the tip of what looks to be an LPR;this would obviously be the reg adjuster. There are several other visual and business clues that lead me to such a statement.

Eh, not my cup of tea personally, but I think its great that spyder is fighting back, getting back into the market. The Ion kinda ruined them I think, it was so much better for around the same price, but now Spyder's back...

It's funny how Tippmann is spitting out guns to compete with low end Kingmans, and Kingman is spitting out high end guns to compete with Smart Parts.

I'm gonna guess this think is gonna hit $350 with the rocking trigger version...

ehhh i'm thinking that kingman might be smart and keep it relatively low. i think they know that not many people will buy a $230+ spyder when they can get a smaller, faster, non-sear tripper ion for $199.

but if they perform half as well as they look who knows, with the LP operation and any other upgrades they might've done, it might be a pretty decent performer as well.....

those eye covers look a little like DM/PM covers...

theres nothing wrong with a sear tripper. just usually they run at a higher pressure....i think this is the first (below 200psi) LP sear tripper.

no, its just the first factory one. People have been doing lp mods for ages.

you might be right, but most players i know are more attracted to the word, "electropneumatic", it makes the marker sound more high end.

i think it looks ok but what is the deal with that trigger. does it have 2 activation points or just one? to me it looks like it has 2 and if i remember correctly most tourney rules only allow 1 activation point. maybe im wrong, anyone else know for sure?

Why is that bad? Will be nice to see the Spyder name mean something again.
