I've got an x-valve, ULT w/6 shims, im getting a little bolt sticking.. any ideas? Im using the middle spring, do i need to add another shim to the LX??

Try the smallest spring. I also have issues when I use the ULT and the middle spring (or longest spring). Good luck in fixing your issue.
