Nope...Same thing, different material.

The RT valve cannot use the ULT, the X-valve can. You can pay someone to drill out the RT on/off hole to use the ULT though.

The ULT will work in the newer R/T valves.

However, the classic r/t requires the drilling that back2integrity is talking about.

The classic valves can be identified easily due to the face that they get their air from a hole on the bottom versus the side.

it's hit or miss. some have luck, some don't. In either case... it increases the likelyhood of shortstroking alot, unless you have a skilled trigger pull.

For this reason, AGD does not condne the use of ULT in the Classic valves. You can however put an RT On/off in a classic valve and drop the trigger pull by nearly one half wieght

Pneumagger,
So you are saying, in a classic valve, I could just order the RT on/off and drop it in? Same pin length (.750)? No modifications to the valve or on/off?
I actually have an older AIR valve, would it be the same as a Classic?

I currently use the setup you are talking about, no problems at all dropping it in a classic, air, etc valve. The only problems I have had is getting some chuffing at higher rates of fire. Don't quite know if that is from the on/off, or just my trigger handling skills....
