Alright my friend recently bought a perfectly fine automag.... but he recently decieded that he was going to buy an emag or a minimag Trigger frame and whatever else with it and just attactch it to his body tube... as you can tell I'm not 100% sure on all automag info..... anyway can he do that?

Automag and minimag trigger frames are the exact same thing. You can usually pick them up for about 10-20 dollars depending on condition. Emag frames AKA emag lowers will make your gun electronic, and usually run 250-350 depending on software and condition.

from AGD no. Minimags have a longer body with a fluted front, and are made with steel. Automag bodys are made of steel also, and are a little shorter. emag bodys (now) come with ule bodys. There made of alum, and have cocker threads. Ill get pics for you later.

An automag and minimag trigger frame are the same frame. The only difference between an automag and a minimag is the body.

You can interchange all valves, bodies, rails and frames except the original AutomagRT which uses a different valve.

You do have to be aware that the pims on the original automags and minimags are not round. You may have to shave some metal off the pim to get it to fit into the round hole of the emag/retromag rails. The twistlock emag/rt bodies have a pim that is a little longer so you may have to shave a tiny bit off to get it to fit an automag/minimag rail. Other that that all are interchangeable.
