Well I just got a call on this "Can you come out a salt our lot"
"Yeah it'll cost you a 50/hr for the truck and 75/hr for the salting"
"ummm why is it so high?"
"read your contract snow removial and salting doesn't go till Nov 1st"

He hung up the phone and called back 5 mins ago asking me to come out so I'm out soon to start salting. I love early winters. :D

How much did you guys get over there? I am too lazy to call home and ask  We got some here (I'm at school), but it is to be expected in Michigan...

I see no problem with your business practices. If you wanna wow me, you need to patent salt, trucks, delivery systems on trucks, etc and drive your rivals into the ground via lawsuit (I am a SP owner) :p

No snow here...well maybe in the way up high places. But we did have a most wicked lightning storm all last night, which is rare for our area. Brilliant white gashes racing through the clouds, with only a few actually touching down. The local news caught one bolt on video that stayed lit to the ground for over 6 seconds. Awesome!

Speaking of which, it just started raining like mad!

No snow, freezing tempatures with some ice in the parking lot (patch here and a patch there). It really wasn't worth the time to go out there and salt it for that one account that called, But hey they wanted to get raped form me to dispatch my salt truck. Money is money.
