View Full Version : AGD nOOb NEEDS A LITTLE HELP

Hey guys and girls. I'm relatively new to Automags (used them for about a year now). I recently purchased my second mag, and it came with some kinda of aftermarket reg. I have attached pics of it hoping someone will know what it is.

It bears NO writing of any kind anywhere on it. The seller didn't know what aftermarket parts were on it, but so far I've found a benchmark double trigger frame, benchmark foregrip, ANS Phase 2 bolt (useless), and a hacked and modded drop. Most will be changed and modded to my liking, but the reg perplexes me.

Does anyone know? Thanks!

it looks like a chrager reg,because of all the holes but im not sure.

I do not know the brand, but that is a classic 8-hole mod for the Classic valved Mag. It is ment to increase the flow in the reg allowing for the gun to not suffer as bad from shootdown. It is one of those mods that either works or it didn't, but it was ment for older mag valves that were marked as 68Automag, not the Classic. It is a nice mod if you have it, but more than likely it is a stock charger that was modded and then polished.

Seeing as there are a few more ANS products on it, it could be an ANS back half of the valve. I do believe they sold a back half of the valve with the 8 hole mod. Just a guess.

ANS did and thats probably what it is ....the anno prob wore off LOL

Two popular hot-rods where the Magic Box & the 8-Hole config. which cost anywhere's from $75-175 if not more. turns out they was a wast of money. The 1 mod everyone needs is the levl.10 bolt kit & change the O-rings with an O-ring kit. Add 6-drops of Autolube in the air supply & dry fire the gun 6-dozen times with the barrel removed 2-prevent oil buil-up in the barrel. O, and 4-gods sack, No Co2. only compressed air. Happy-Hunting ......

theyr enot useless they drop the operating pressure a tad bit prob about 35 psi lower trust i build stock class guns makes a differance when your using powerlets :)
