ok does anyone know where to find barrels like palmers unported brass barrels because i want to put an Air America Intimidator tip on a barrel and i believe it needs to be just like a straight tube. i just want to know what other options are out there?

I'm pretty sure that they can go on ported barrels too. To tell the truth I can't even think of any other nonported in any barrels.

Why don't you get a Palmers unported brass barrel??? You can have them powdercoated in black if you don't want the brass.

those things are fun, but try and keep it on a semi longer barrel, the closer to your ears, the worse it hurts..i tried one on a 10 inch kaner barrel, and was dry firing my emag...needless to say i sold the intimidator tip..lol..after my ears stopped ringing..btw i seriously suggest not dry firing with the intimidator..

if worst comes to worst, couldnt you just turn down an old dye stainless to take off the porting? youd end up with a pretty small, very loud barrel with an intimidator on the end

I gotta ask, what is an Air America Intimidator tip?

well i had my loudener on a 10 in kaner barrel, and was dry firing my emag..the mag has a "ping" sound to it..now try amplifying that, at abt 20 bps, dry firing...and the intimidator is fairly large, for those who dont know what it is, its a peice that fits at the end of your barrel to louden the sound of your gun...it works sort of as a bullhorn..

so its a pretty cool gadget? i think i might just tape my AA tip and see what i can do with a PVC pipe shroud, maybe

Industrial thread spools fit perfectly over the barrel of VM-68 Magnum and really increase the volume potential. It's something that you have to hear to believe.

I have an A/C threaded palmer brass barrel, very old, but still shoots very good, I think it's .684 or .685

Vector with barrel shortened by 3" and AA intimidator installed. The aluminum block on the side is for a side saddle LPR mount.

If you think the mag was loud, The vec by itself I bet is louder. Then add the shortened barrel and intimidator and you have one hell of a nightmare.

Outlawed in indoor arena play due to being louder than the refs. :wow:

Or just go for the OPSGEAR DISHKA flash supressor. It makes your barell "cannonized".

It fits on many barells, and has an adapter.

did I miss something? For a while the plan was smaller, lighter and quieter markers. Now the big push is louder?

These have been out for a long time. The idea is to just be so loud that you scare everything away.
