Here are some pics from the last Saturday. Field is Velocity in Ramona. Had 5 "maggers" out there (Carbonblue, Tesbeatsmag, 2 guys not present on the board and myself) along with other friends. Just posting up some action shots of the mags :D . We did meet 2 fellow AO'ers out there, but i totally forgot their screenname :tard: . Enjoy

Any of you guys play at Velocity back when it was San Diego Paintball? The fields team was called Sick and Twisted, they were an AGD team that won a few events back in the great western days. Back in the day you were nobody at that field if you didn't sport some flavor of mag. :headbang:

I enjoyed Borderland until I broke my leg on one of their fields and landed in some stinging nettle, kinda spoiled the day for me. They had the best safety speech… no you cannot shoot at the parachutists… The Navarone guys were a cool bunch I always liked playing with those guys, back when tournament players were adults and not punks.

how about those ultralights that flew over the fields? those were sweet! Navarone was a cool bunch, barry and chuck were very cool guys to talk to.

I've still got some mini viewloader 40 round pods that chuck gave me one day I use them when I play pump. :cool:

I remember those great western tournaments, I used to play exclusively at borderland until they got mowed over by developers :cry: that was hands down my favorite place to play, the staff was awesome. We usually played with friends from 51/50 and Psychotic.

I played there once a few years back. Never did see parachutes but did see border patrol! When did they close?

your best bet would be hollywood sports, sk8ermog is a ref there and he could hook you up, the fileds in bellflower

HAHA! Now that's interesting SoCal LA vs. SoCal SD. But I'm sure SoCal LA probably outnumbers SD. I'll have to save some money and see about playing sometime soon. If the meeting place is anywhere near SD, that would increase my chance of attending. :)

carbon blue, oem petey, and i went out to velocity again yesterday with that big private SDSU game (70+). had a couple of maggers with us also that day. we tore it up nonetheless.

Thems fightin words rrrrr.... :argh: Time to mow some SD AO faces with my morlock hypermag... ;) I'll bring the camera and take more pictures next time so we can have proof once in for all who rules SoCal. But in the end we'll all know that we are all winners cause we played our best and shoot mags. :D Sorry I had to add the chessy cause I was getting a little too mean spirited.
