Remember I can change the colors of all the renders.

I need advice on which one draws you in and if the typography should be changed. Thanks!!

#4 is very 2006 web 2.0

i don't think the square swosh of pixels or the drop shadow is needed

I like both three and four...

The colors on four could probably be changed...IMO

yep, #4 all the way. If not that, #3 is a distant second in my book. #4 is awesome

I like them all... and that really makes it hard to vote!

I like #1, #3, and #4 the best, so... you take it from there.

#4 reminds me of the dye logo.

I suppose #1 is too H&R block for everyone :D

I hope that number four would be far different than the dye logo.

Maybe if I add the paint splatter(#3) to the background of #4 would make it better.

Keep the opinions coming!!!!

Tinker with the colors on #4... I really like that one the best.

# 1 would look great on a business card and I think looks the most corporate, but it really doesn't speak anything about paintball...#4 is terrific but I think its busier than it needs to be. Maybe remove the pixel swoosh like doc_Zox recomended.

Additionally I think #3 could be awesome is you played with the font on 'pb'. My eyes kinda get stuck on those big bold flat letters. You could maybe try an airy font for pb and a rigid 'techno' font for 'pixels'. Just some ideas. Nice work!

I think #3 could be very good with a little more work. The pixels on the paint splat need to be reworked.

#4 looks good too, but to me it looks to much like other logos and won't stand out.

funny, I just bought the website pixeleddesigns.com about 2 months ago

#3 is the best style from a business and marketing perspective, IMO.

You have to remember that if it's too 'busy' of complex, people will easily forget it or, worse yet, not even recognize that it's logo.

IMHO, a good logo should have defined borders and shape, be slightly rectangular (say, appx. 5:3 ratio w:h), use two colors or perhaps two colors plus black. It should be memorable - which the pixelated paint splat certainly is. A simple logo with fewer colors is easier to print onto letterhead or other business/promotional materials and is more easily recognizable if you're not really paying attention to it.

Ask yourself this question: Would I put this logo on a NASCAR?
If you think people will be able to see and understand it when it's moving 200 MPH, then go for it.

Again, I prefer #3

I always heard simplicity is best for marketing, but in my opinion I really like the #4 logo, and #3 a close second.

I Prefer #3 also. At either a quick glance or at a stare, it seems to be the most clear and rememberable for me. Great options here though.

What about having #4 "break" like #3 on one side

heres an idea...how about a silhouette of a paintball player shooting a rope of squares/pixels?

Personally I like #2 the best, however, that doesn't show as much creativity, and seeing as your business is about, well, creativity in a sense I would say a re-splatted #3 is the best.

I do prefer number 2 but number 4 with modified colors could also be an option.

As a design student:

I feel extremely inferior.

As a regular joe:

I like two, however, simplicity catches my eye. All my designs are simple like that, and idk, it appeals to me.

However, four, like mostsaid, is amazing.

Ever though of making parts of it all pixelated looking?

#1 makes me think of h&r block

SR_matt

all are good. the first 2 do look more like firm style logos though (not to say paintball cant be high level exectuiveish but i dont think it will pull people in as well with the customer base)

i like 4 but the square pixiles just have something about them im not really liking for some reason (maybe if they were circles it would be right on). i love the color of 4 and it caught my eye the best. i think on looking at it agian you might just scrap the pixel squares and leave it as the circle logo with the type below

3 is nice but the color just do it for me and the design just doesnt really fancy me

2 if nice, very clean but the only problem i can see with it is the customer base beign attracted to it, perrsonaly i love it (looks to be able to make an exceptional buissness card on one side with your contact info on the other). if you were to use it i would go to a slightly more limey green eprsonaly or just swap the colors all to geather (that shade of green doesnt look real good to me but thats me)

1 is good but it kind of reminds me of H&R Block becasue of the plain square.

over all i think they are very good (i am a future art student just gota get my self out of highschool)

my brother has a small design buissness on the side and works as a head of the liquid media department for a large company so ive been used to looking at and doing a little desing stuff for a while (im interested in graphic design but i think id rather go into metal craft for my degree)

over all they are very good and i think you have a very good start and a nice wide range of different design ideas avaliable in your reportoir (sp?).

keep up the good work
-matt

edit- once i started going back and seeing what peopel have said about one or the other shows more design ability or less you could always use more than one logo like for different things, i.e. one simple one in the corner of designs or spnsored teams advertisiment, another for your main ad, etc

3 should be your main sign
then take the the p with the circle and pixels in 4 and slap that everywhere

I think 3 is the best. Just flashy enough, without coming off as childish.

I like number 4.

Is the font for "Digital Paintball Design" Square721? I would choose a diffrent font there or go with a darker orange with some kerning adjustments. I really like the 3d logo, it is very well done. I have been playing with trying to make newer 3d style logo for my shop as well.

#3 has the most appealing paintball look to it with the splat. I go for 3. Nice job on all the logos anyways.

Yup, the revision is it. Just maybe different colors.
What would it look like with a capital P in "pbpixels"?

i don't know if anyone has said this, but i think it might look neat if "pixels" started to pixelate at the end like "PB" in #1. It looks good how it is too.

I believe 2 is the most contemperary in an art stance. Its crisp, but need something more to refernce it to paintball.
