Its a snow crystal with frost on the ends.

Thats shot at 300 Micrometers. Not sure if everyone knows what um stands for. That is an awesome picture though.

looks like severl snowflakes in the pic, the large dumbel appears to be one of them.

very very cool indeeed, ide like to see more and the differances.

It doesn't take more than a good manifying glass to see individual snowflakes.
