I'm down in the twin cities.

Go check out the Glensheen (sp) Mansion. 3rd floor is supposed to be haunted.
Split Rock Lighthouse (North about 30 - 40 miles)
Gooseberry Falls (Near Lighthouse)
The Ore ship (don't remember the name) by the liftbridge is pretty cool.
Superior Zoo is supposed to be pretty good.
I think there's a train museum up there if you're into that.
Don't know the night life very well up there though....

Been there for work. Nicgt life pretty much sucks, but if you love hiking there is a great trail near by (North Country Trail). There is also a decent bar / restaurant called Grandma's or something like that. Good food, cheap beer.

Hey, if paintball is your interest (Why not?) check out Superior Firepower in Superior, WI. They have a pretty decent field and the prices are good.

I go to the U of M up here. With the weather the way it is, outside stuff isnt the best unless you have a nice jacket. But the Mansion is pretty cool. Along with the Ore ship. Close to the ship is the Great Lakes Aquarium. It is ok, nothing super cool but it kills time and has some interesting stuff. Besides that, movies and bowling are always good. Im gunna assume you are 21+ so you can go to the casino (something like Van Duluth... but spelled differently)

But if you want to brave the cold, Gooseberry falls is very nice, or just walk down by the lake.

And if you ever get really bored out of your mind. Here at the U of M, a play called Crazy for You is going on. Havn't seen it but I hear good things, also so music stuff.
