I just bought a set of carbon fiber emag pannels and tried to install them, but they would not sit flush on the right side because of the solenoid retainning screw. The pannels can't be modified becaue they are to thin. The pannels are pretty stiff and shouldn't allow for the solenoid to shift from side to side, but the screw was put there for a reason....Thanks

You need that screw. Without it, the solenoid could float sideways too far and bend the plunger rod.

Take a dremel and grind a little bump out inside the pannel so the screws head fits in it.

Tuna/BigE, Thanks guys I thought so. I'm going to Osh to get 6-32 torq head machine screws their pretty flat, so I don't need to grind that much into the grips...

And dont think that the screw will stop the solenoid from moving. It needs to float a little.
