Does anyone know of a good method to take off the feed tube for the ULE Centerfeed? Ive tried pretty much everything and dont want to scratch it.

What about something like this Craftsman Strap Wrench (http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?cat=Hand+Tools%2C+General+Purpose&pid=00945533000&vertical=TOOL&subcat=Adjustable+Wrenches&BV_UseBVCookie=Yes)
If your replacing it just scratch it. ;)
or use a nepreme (sp) peice of clothing and a vice if you dont want scratching

towel and pliers or if your going 2-replace it , drill a 3/4'' hole thruogh the feedneck & stick a screwdriver through the hole & turn it 2-the LEFT ......

Here's the best way I've found so far: get a wide and thick nylon strap and use a vice wrench on it. Works wonderfully.

The strap wrenches work great in most cases but I do find they slip on items that are smooth/or extremely tight. in those cases I wrap the item with the strap wrenches thick rubber and clamp a vise grip on it, and voila!

Yeah, I got too impatient, used old rags and a vise grip wrench......
:tard:
Scratched it.
Oh well, I never put to orginal feedneck back on anyway!
