I give props to ALL armed Forces members. But the coast gaurd has some nuts. Big blue sea and Big orange ship.

Its just like the U.N. Dressed in camo with a bright blue helmet, or there camo tanks with U.N. spray painted all over it. I understand the need for markings but still.

Maybe I just don't get it.

Er, wha? CG are police, not real combat forces. They make it orange instead of having sirens all over it. And the UN guys throw ID markins all over their crap for pretty much the same reason. I dont know if the UN has ever done a super sneaky offensive type of operation.

I'm pretty sure that it was CG guys who manned all the landing craft in WWII. They might be doing police duties now, but if we get into another BIG WAR, they'll be fighting on the lines with the rest of the armed services.

Hopefully the top. That way theres no possibility of getting the thing pregnant and having to deal with those darned child support payments.

17 percent of my nothing... would be nothing. I think I could handle it the other way around though :)

word to the Coast Guard.

Bright orange is good. If your lost at sea, it's easy to spot. Aren't the ships mostly white anyway?

Grrrrr, heh heh.

The Coast Guard acts as a police force now, taking out drug runners and serving aboard Navy ships so we can board suspicious boats anytime we want. They're like... "the man". If a Coastie is on one of our ships, we can board someone and search them. I can't wait to be on one of those boarding parties. Breakin out the 9mm's and leading some sailors and a Coasty onto some fishing troller lol.

Dude, what the heck are you doing in Watertown? Get the heck out of that crap hole. Now. Wounded or not.

I was born and raised here. Still being raised btw. lol. My I work for my dads fence company, and I thoroughly enjoy SCUBA diving which my grandparents own a business in.

On a side note, a few weeks back, I was air lifted to Syracuse hospital from Carthage... the US. army doesnt do medivac any more do they in that situation? Im just waiting for the bill.... and I was so incoherent that I couldnt tell ya who air lifted me.... I have a feeling it was an expensive air fare.

Im definatley wounded though.

Does the USCG scuba dive or have a STAR(r) type program?

Yeah that Med-vac stuff is hella expensive. I've seen reaallly expensive claims through on insurance for that, sadly insurance doesnt cover very much at all.

Dunno if 10th mtn does that any more, Im pretty sure Syracuse uses their own helicopter service so they can bill the crap out of you for it. When my brother died, they airlifted him to the tune of 1400 bucks. Either way, you should leave that crap hole. Make your parents move somewhere else that needs fences.
