I made a thread a while ago about my emag's battery problem and concluded that i needed a new battery. Well i got a brand new battery from Tuna and now it just says AGD 3.2 and then random charactors light up. what do you guys think the problem could be? could the board be fried?

Did you get a new trigger? The magnet might be a lil too close to the HES.

You DID charge the new battery right? They do not come completely charged. Magnet is probably too close.

Do i have to charge it completely the first time or something? I charged it for like an hour and a half and the light was green. I took it to radioshack today and they said it only had about 6 volts (that cant be right) in it how far away should the magnet be.

If you get random characters or none at all the trigger is too close to the back. Back it off some and try again.

edit: hah, 6 volts. emag's need at least 14 to function....your battery may be dead...

Go charge your battery again. It should stay red for ~an hour, then turn green (assuming it is a dead battery which 4 volts would be) leave it on the charger for 2-3 hr after it turns green. Then get back with us with results

Let it charge overnight, then try. Most battery problems stem from not letting it charge fully. Remember you are charging a 14V battery off of a 12V source, it's goign to take some time to get where you want it.
