Round #1

"MAG" of the month contest...that means MAGS of any kind, only

I want to see some kick butt mags ! ! !

I will do it every month there seems to be continued interest , voting in the last week of each month, new contest on the first-ish of each month.

Near the end of the month I will narrow it down to a Final 5 (or how ever many I think are worthy) and open a public voting poll to pick the winner.

Rules:

1) Must be your Mag and NOT for sale during the month of the contest.

2) I don't care how great or sucky your pictures are, it's a gun contest not a photogenic prize.

3) 2 pictures MAX , NO GIANT WALLPAPER sized pictures....post a link if you need to. I'm the only one voting at this time so no need to 'impress' the masses....yet.

**This is the code to resize and thumbnail your pictures. Copy and paste and add the link where it says to.**

If you can't figure out how to host your pics , I will get them hosted for you.

4) One gun entered per month

5) No text posts ...PM all questions to who ever you want to ask what ever you want to ask.

I will be judging on what I think is cool or worthy ...

I'm going to elaborate on this a little

Total package , as in , everything matching. Don't have a custom anno'd gun and then something silly like a mismatched feedneck clamp.

All parts in harmony with all others. For instance , if you have a CF foregrip , better be some CF somewhere else. Or like a thrasher 'type' rail w/ an Organic (DW) Body = :nono:

Uniqueness , if there are 5 DW bodied , Vert framed , X valved etc . . . you better make yours standout somehow.

X Factor. This is that intangible quality where a marker is just . . . right. Maybe it's just perfectly clean , maybe flawless flow , I don't know only that you know it when you see it.

Lastly , I'd really like to see full functioning markers , those will get priority over the same parts just stacked up for a picture.

These will be the points the will set 2 seemingly similar markers apart.

Prizes:

Airgun Designs Lion Stickers (probably a few).

MOTM/GOTM T-Shirt. It will be one size only , XL with this design on the pocket and large Automags.org w/ the AGD daisy on the back.....

http://premium1.uploadit.org/rrfireblade/Paintball/GOTM.jpg

http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/4350/motmtshirt0oq.jpg

Yeah , That's Right. :)

Anything "sponsers" want to add at my discression (contact me first please)

That's it....GO ! ! !

Jay.

Yes those are smudges from handling the gun after wiping it down with Microfibre. This marker is sooo shiney gloss black its almost worse than the Chromed/Nickled/Polished out markers....

Former owner quitted paintball a while ago and it wasnt used for about 4 years till i got it. Cleaned it, lubed it, aired it up and works flawlessly! :headbang: The hopper i got with it i've never seen before, its an indian springs autofeed and was made in england? The adjustable reg is from air america, and its a signature series. The RT body has a really weird feedneck, does anybody know anything about these?

Got this whole setup with 2 barrels for about $75 :D Only thing left to do is getting the bottle rehydroed.

The body is a Euro-something RT body. The powerfeed sits the hopper over the body.

Not sure about the loader. Looks to me like a old View Loader.

Yeah they came out after the first Revy's
There are 2 motors that spin and kinda of force the balls in.
I played with a guy that had one back in 2000, he had it on a cocker and it worked just fine.
If you look inside there are 2 paddles that spin and agitate the balls and "kinda" force the balls down the feed tube.
:shooting:

olinar

its a high rise powerfeed that was discontinued in the states because of tolerance issues.the rise wasnt the right height and it caused ball breaks but the ones from the uk worked just fine.so if yours is from an englishman chances are it works perfect.i had one that was also pumpmilled.

Actually, this one only has one motor (Modified Servo) in one compartment, and the battery in the other (9v) It works just like a revvy, and has an eye in the feedneck. I've tried to find some more information on the internet, but all i got was a tac loader from indian springs for the A5, some links to other loaders of that company, and some summer camps at indian springs.. Well, atleast i know its old. :D

I'm pretty sure this is a euro version then. This marker was purchased from the first owner, and he lives in the netherlands. I've read about the issues with the US models, but wasnt sure this was that body. Thanks for pointing it out!

I bought this marker so my sister would have something to play ball with, but after getting the classic from MANN, i decided this is maybe a bit too bulky for her... she needs a compact and relatively light gun and the classic will suit her better i think. Also i am confronted with a dillemma, because this marker will be sold soon to a friend of mine who is getting into paintball, but doesnt have the budget for a new marker. It is mine for now, so i am entering this piece of AGD history in the MOTM. I really would like to keep it but then again, i have 6 markers now in my home, and maybe that's a bit too much for one person. (although some will disagree)

Since I am considering selling it... I'd love to change to show it off for possible the last time... ( And props to the judge for doing the vert breach mod )

everything you see is nomal except: the rail and z-grip.

rail: custom cut rt-pro rail into what i dubbed the "beta" rail. looks alot like the omega, but its not.

the z-grip well as you can see its got 20bps fullauto hyperframe guts.

for this project i'd like to say thanks to: thefool for the custom paint, to cyberave68 for the rail, and me for the gun design.

It's Psupermag, my Pneumag. It has a Luke Rail and 15 degree vert adapter, a Logic 86 Frame, and a custom cut, hammered finish stainless right feed body, with a Doc Nickle barrel adapter allowing a Palmer Pursuit Shop brass 12 inch cocker threaded barrel. It's custom plumbed with aluminum hardline, and it's finished off with a hand made brass ghost-ring sight and valve cover and hand carved walnut grips.

Walkable, accurate as all get out, and sporting the old school Wild West look. We turn a lot of heads at the field. :headbang:

:headbang:

What kind of valve is that ?
We want more pics (other side) !

You've never heard of it? It's teh all brass valve that AGD made prototypes of in the early nineties.

:ninja:

/It's just a brass valve cover.

I'll get an "other side" shot of Psupermag for you folks as soon as I can. Goinghome, that brass on the back is a valve cover that I fabbed up from some plumbing material, as is the brass ghost ring.

Nothing like having some toilet parts on your pneumag. :headbang:

My Pump MiniMag:

MiniMag body/rail milled by Brad @ PBMaxx
12" Dye Ultralite barrel
Lapco T-stock
AGD Intelliframe
Dye clear panel grips
ANS sight rail w/Adco E-dot 30mm

I really love this thing, it's one of the most accurate markers I own. I've posted a photo or two, and a quick video:

Setup as I use it today, with a Guerrilla Air 45ci/4500psi tank (not in pic):

Here's me playing at the S.C. Village Legends of Paintball pump event in Jan 06. I had serious fun at that event, too bad I missed the SoCal AO day!:

Short video, I made this for my website, to demonstrate how I built my MiniMag pump and then the result. I love this thing!:

Nice! That is the best black/Carbon Fiber combination Ive seen so far. The blurry pic doesnt do it justice.

I finally got a nice stainless short barrel for her, thanks Lenny.
That thing on the back is a quick release that fits a harness so I can carry the gun like they do on Stargate SG1. She's a wee bit heavy, and I'm getting old.

It was a nice barrel, too. All shiny and stuff. That sale made me cry. So many BOA's and a shiny Check-It and no classic to even "test" them on.
