AO Jerseys, CSG making them anymore?

I went to order an Automags.org jersey from CSG following the link from AGD's Online Store and I get some kind of error message. IS everyone else getting this? I shot CSG an e-mail to see what the deal was but they have not yet responded to me. Does anyone know if they will continue to make these?

last i heard they stopped filling individual shirt orders for professional team jerseys at the end of the year. The AO jerseys seem like they would be the same deal (the shirts aren't pre-made...they're made when ordered). it may be that you can't get them anymore without custom ordering them, but don't quote me on this. I do know that the company is run by just a few guys and they keep pretty busy. I've been told that the best way to reach them is by phone or voicemail.

Maybe the thing to do is re-design the jerseys and go with Animal. I have never gotten any good customer service from CSG, but Animal treated my team very well. Any idears?

Animal does some awesome work... just make sure you are EXTREMELY SPECIFIC with your order - sizing, name spelling, image placement, etc.

From what I can tell the mag guy took existing Animal Paintball jersey designs and put some AO-ish stuff on 'em.

I can't speak for the other two, but I've worked with Animal in the past when HSU was looking for a jersey company and ultimately chose to go with CSG. Very profesional people at Animal, likewise CSG if you can get a hold of them between breaths.

Pricing for Animal ends up being around $65/ea. as I recall for jerseys (part of the reason we chose CSG was their sponsorship of the NCPA which priced their jerseys for College teams at $55/ea.).

I also recall that it get cheaper if you buy team packages, however that means minimum order sizes and group buys which can be tricky to coordinate. A jersey and pant combo as I recall was around $160-ish for the set.

Anyone with Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop can make files that Animal can use (*.eps for vector and *.psd for raster). So long as you follow Animal's guide lines anything can happen. They even have a handy template for custom jerseys.

I don't believe Tom's the official owner of the logos or domain name anymore (I could be wrong). However you would need whoever does own them to send a fax/e-mail confirmation to use the AO Daisey and Automags.org name.

i would prepay if the jerseys (black,grey,&orange version) will be under somewhere around 50 or lower.

its a problem with theses things - those jerseys are really awesome, but do we have enough people who will buy them to actually do a batch. I'd say if you made them and they were sweet, they'd get sold in a matter of months.

I will be working with my sister's boyfriend on this. He recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design and has done some amazing work (www.ryandunndesign.com if youre intrested). I'm hoping to come up with 2-3 designs that we can all agree on and then move ahead with Animal Paintball. Let me know what you guys think, and please hit me back with some feedback!

There will be different sizes of course (that is Animal's job)! I would like to offer a few different color schemes to choose from so most of us will have something to match our equipment. I myself am pretty fond of the grey/black/orange scheme, so you'll probably see something like that as well. It might be a while till we get all the designs down and are satisfied enough to post anything, I work 2 jobs and Ryan just got hired to his new job as well. No later than the end of the month I hope. I definately want mine before Castle Conquest!

I think that you should think about a camo jersey as well for all those bushballers out there, may enlarge the market to them if you don't have all flashy colours.

I am really looking forward to the AO jersey poll. But, I have a quick thought that gives a real nood to "Back In The Day". The tux print from Animal is cool, but what if insead of the black jacket, it was Tiger Stripe.

I know that is saw a pic of Tom and some guy in tux by Tiger Stripe at an award show. Now this was some 17 years ago so I might be way off. Someone much have a pic? It looks kinda cool.

I have been wanting one of the AO jerseys as well. I should have jumped at the chance to get one back in '03. Anyway, I am in for a jersey. Has anyone talked with Animal yet? Do we need to have 1 bulk order or will we be able to buy separately? Have we settled on a design? I like the original, the MR MAGnificent one, and the quality kills design.
For AGDRetro, how far is your friend with the design? How about something that incorporates the AGD Lion logo? As far as shirts go...I like the one below, but I'm in for whatever the consensus is.

UPDATE: CSG's site hasn't be up'd in a while, and no answers to emails over last couple weeks. However, I have been in contact with Animal over the last couple months, as my own custom uniform was just finished - http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=209768&highlight=Animal+Paintball

Turned out very, very, nicely!

ANIMAL is the way to go for the Jersey's. I'll call Mondo tomorrow re: bulk / continuous Jersey runs.

Someone should get in contact with AGD as well, to make sure it's ok we use "Automags.org" and "AO" on the Jerseys.


Also, the design below is partially null/void for a idea. The main top part of the Jersey is ok. But the bottom part is taken from an existing Team's Uniform... :nono:
