I think you should use grey acrylic paint for a background so it could be clear and use a solid color for the flames and title.

Prairie, are you gonna have the grips panel grips or shaped grips? I don't know if you can make it completely shaped but I'm guessing you can cut a thick piece of whatever your using to make a nice egro grip. I'd like to see it when you finish it.
