This is my "Evil Barrel" ;)

.. I bought a stock Minimag barrel of a friend for 5 bucks, and I tried to port it the like inch and half or so. It worked like crap because of the burs, so I just chopped it down a bit on my scrollsaw, and now its roughly a little 5 and a half inches long from end to end. It comes out of the gun about 2 inches. I can't wait to use it. I'll be the laughing stock of the Tippman Snipers ;)

BTW- The dollar bill is there so you can get a rough idea of the size.

BTW- The crap quality is so dialupers dont have to wait for ever, and who needs a highrez of the barrel anyways?

I personally am a strong believer of the back half of a CP 2-piece;)

It was a stock Automag barrel I traded for, choped it and ported it (well the porting was off, but no spurs). It's loud, unaccurate and eats gas but it's fun as he11! Also makes my Mag look like some futuristic pistol :)

Its unaccurate? Because If I play this weekend, it'll be the only barrel I have. I couldn't see it eating that much more gas than a long Boomstick though.

that would be sick with a minimag body
i think im going to do that so ill have a super tight and compact gun.... warp, 5 inch barrel, - accurate as a spray paint can :)

I don't have a Minimag, but I can assure you it WOULDN'T poke out. It makes the gun so light, and it makes it really easy to manuever. Hopefully it has some decent accuracy.

Here is a pic of my gun with barrel, its not meant to be a glory shot. If you would like to see how the fade job looks, you could check it out in the SiN's galler under basic powdercoating.

my lil bro made a barrel similar to yours. It is for a Spyder though. The first pic shows you the relative size to 5 paintballs. It is roughly 3.5 inches in length. Its pretty loud but the accuracy isn't that bad.

A friend of mine used to run a minimag with a barrel that only poked out enough that you could grab it and twist it to get it out.

It looked cool and was plenty accurate.
