Dang! I like my Vike!

Having recently traded my Angel for my CFOA project Mag(thanks KC), I replaced its position in team practice with a "recently" aquired Viking. I have used this marker very little and never in ramping mode or with my reloader. This one is outfitted with the WAS board, and have to comment on how much smoother this one transfers into ramping as compared to (others) I have recently used.
The weight and balance of the marker make it extremly stable when it transfers into the ramp. I was blazing every person foolish enough to run in front of me today. I will have to work on my snap shooting with it. Its size and weight will take some adjustment.

I haven't used it in over a month, took it out of the bag, few drops of oil and it chronoed the same as it did last time I played.....Thanks for the tune up DC.

Looks nice. As you said, only thing weird switching to the vik was getting used to the size over many other guns. I also tried shooting my tank out the back and I can say that getting a DF for it made the world a better place.

This is actually an 02 w/ eyes. Unsure of the version of was, but I use a pimp manual for it.

Looks good, I just picked up an 03 vike and I get to play with it for the frist time this wednesday. I can't wait!

To all viking owners - I'm sure I have a WAS programmer at my house if you need a hand there.

Glad you like it. I love mine. Even milled without all the weight it's one of the smoothest markers I've ever shot. And the pressure compensating regs are nice to never have to be adjusting. The size profile is a tad smaller than a DM5 silohette too.

AKA makes the best guns around. I havnt ever owned or shot a gun i like more than my Excal or Vik. Anyone thinking about getting a new gun should def look into AKA markers. Not to bag on mags but AKA blows em out of the water in every way i can think of.

I just picked up a DC FSP viking with tadao and whatnot, ill probably end up shooting that at a few cfoa events as well. Used it at a 3 man on saturday, and a practice on sunday and it shot amazing.

hmm, all i can see is a red wall, blue barrel and blue duct tape floating in mid air....everything else looks like woods to me...???? :confused:

I have an affliction that causes me to get a new (different) marker every few months.

hooray I wont be the only one shooting a vike at cfoa. I saw 1 used for back up for a game at myrtle beach I think and thats it. I really want my Logic EM to be done so I can use that.

I have an 03 with was and that will be my main gun unless my mini finally ships in and blows it out of the water which is unlikely... which I might sell if I dont like it to pay for milling for the vike.

One guy shot a milled 03 viking all season, it has FSP cuts, and i think the rest was a featherlight, cant quite remember, it was all black. I also shot a JMJ factory 04 for part of the TN event, and I think I may have broken that out some in ATL too.

Oh and, about that mini, played around with one last weekend, SO TINY.

Hey punk, you might like that viking but im absolutley in love with this angel.......

Favorite gun ive ever laid hands on, bar-non. Mag runs a close second, and might overtake it with a vert e-frame.... but damn.

LOL Vikings... I have had mine now for 2 months and I havent even played with it yet. It is an awesome peice though... Definately will find a special place in my heart.
