E-mag rail

I am looking to get my E-mag anno'd and I am wondering, is the rail Aluminum and anno-able? Its the stock E-mag rail, but I don't know how old it is.

Thanks thats what I needed to know. Getting it re-annoed won't hurt anything will it? I wouldn't think it could throw the tolerances off but I definatly want to make sure. I'll be having gruntbull do it.
