electro pneumatic mag; using an ego frame. below is a short video. I was low on air and forgot to turn off the eyes, thus the slow capped rof of 10bps. However, this is by far the fastest, most consistent electro pneumatic mag combination I have made yet. Another vid will be posted to show its true speed. That new video is here >><a href='http://media.putfile.com/eMAGgo-DOS-better-vid'>Click here to watch 'eMAGgo-DOS-better-vid'</a>

Sweet, ever think of replacing that screw in the back of the grip to a pan head one? I used to have a socket head just about there and it ate up my hands so quick!

Nice job none the less!

thanks!

I didn't have the right length screw for the back, the nut is just a spacer. I will defiantly clean it up.

Very nice, a fancier rail would look better but function over fashion...ehh..need some eyes yo... good job.

Awesome!

NIce looking rail too! Gives it a real nice look with the Carbon Fiber accents. That must be one light marker with the Shadow rail on there :hail:

thanks. The shadow rail has always been my favorite.

I had my black winged rail on there but needed that for the emag, I'll pm you about that. Yes it is very light. Once I change out the grips and onoff, for color, it will come together nicely.

Nothing special inside, just a noid and ram that fits. The noid sits on top of the stock ego.

the frame was on the shocker I had removed the front of the frame to fit the hybrid 15* asa.

see her internals... maybe later.

Am I the only one who has a really strong desire to move the foregrip back a few inches?

it wouldn't be so pronounced if the front of the frame was still there.

Think it would have been possible to use an AM/MM rail instead of the RT one?

It looks fabulous, and I'm sure it's comfy as hell. Slap some eyes on it! Awesome job!

EDIT: Also, I know it'll be a pain in the *** to do, but it might be worth to countersink that rear gripframe screw...

SECOND EDIT: Next time I'm in town i demand to see it.

Thanks!

I am working on one of these right now. I can't believe how easy it has been so far. All I need is a connector to plug the solenoid into the board and I will be done. I like that eyes can be added if wanted.

Can't wait to finish this one! :D

FINISHED!!

I used a Clippard MPA3. This was a very easy conversion. The only thing left is to seal the fitting on the solenoid, they are leaking a little. I will post pics and hopefully a video this weekend.

I bought the 2 pin leads from AKA. They were expensive $5 each plus $5 shipping. I bought 4 of them because the shipping was cheaper that way $10 shipping for multiple items.

Yes I have tried the ramp modes....... :D

I think I may install eyes because as you know the Ego frames are capped at 15 bps unless the eyes are active. Not that 15 bps isn't enough but what the heck, if you can pull faster than that in in semi why not!!

I have not adjusted the dwell. To the best of my knowledge they are on Factory default settings.

Emaggo #1: '05 Frame, dwell 8.0

Emaggo #2; '06 Frame, dwell 10.0

Why do you ask?

I am going to buy some eyes and try to integrate them into one of these. Have you done it yet, I know you were toying with the idea.

I have my dwell set around 4 ms. Just curious. I lowered the optical eye settings too.

Yea, I will be putting eyes in mine. I was looking to have elia paintball http://www.eliapaintball.com/ do this. They have experience milling shocker eyes and custom eye covers. I wanted to have shocker like eye covers that the detents would hold on.

If you guys dont want to use the eyes per say,.. but want to get the stock boards out of the 15bps cap,... u can always block the eyes internally in the frame and "fool" them into
thinking they see a ball (such as the eyes on the NXT Shockers)

If they eye logic is smart like TAG's,..... you can replace the eyes with a non-photo emitter and that will cause them to see the other side all the time as well.

Personally,... I dont use eyes cause I like the twistlock bodies myself. But it I was to get into the ULE stuff,... I would have the bodies milled for eyes.

I used the one that you bought, I have done 4 Emaggos now and this connector has worked on each one. Do you have the stock board? Although if it was a replacement board I would think that the connector would have to work.

Don't know what to tell, you , I soldered two up last night for Emaggo #3 and #4. both have been tested too so I know that there were no issues.

I do know that they will only go in one way and it is to go into the 2 pin connector, the 4 pin is for the eyes.

Got a Pic?

I re-checked the board with the harness that AKA sent me. The connector they sent looks to be the same size as the one that works with the warp feed cable for an e-mag.

This port on the stock EGO board is larger. Im thinking the size of a pancake noid on an E2 frame,.. which would make sense since both are Eqlipse products.
