I have a Air America Armageddon ajustable 68/4500 hooked up to my x-valve tac one. Im putting well over 1000 PSI into the valve through the steel braided line.

I am getting NO RT effect at all. im going light on the trigger just like everyone says and im still getting nothing. its definitley not my trigger pulling technique.

Th trigger is a little stiffer, but thats all. no super fast bounce that everyone rants and raves about.

Dont most people get reactivity at around 950? I put in just about 1100 and got nothing!

Any ideas?

Are you using a ULE? A RT on/off will give you the reactivity your looking for.

possible your tank output pressure is displaying improperly as well?

The trigger shouldn't be any stiffer. The input pressure has no effect on the operating presser inside the mag. It only affects the recharge rate. Its that input pressure and faster recharge that gives that trigger kick. The ULT reduces the amount of kick to get rid of the Reactive effect. If you have a ULT installed, you will need to increase the amount of shims used. Even then there won't be as much reactive effect as if you use a standard retro on-off assembly.

im using a standard RT ON/Off. No ULT trigger.

i have also put two different gagues in reading the output pressure so that is no it either.
they both read 1000+ psi

Anyone have any exerience with this specific regulator?

Drop a level 10 shim or two in between the on-off halves. It will simulate a shorter pin.

That will work. Be careful about how many shims you put in though. Too many will make your gun run away :D

Yes, your pin is too long. You can shorten it, or buy one from agd. They sell them in different lengths

How would you guys suggest shortening the pin?

I see that it is threaded. Can you simply screw it in a bit to shorten the pin?

not that Pin, they are talkign about the pin in the middle of th eOn/Off valve

Where are you putting yoru finger? I'm surprised no one has asked that. Put your finger right before the dip on your blade trigger, and slowly press more and more until it bounces, and it should start. I've done this with my classic rt a lot when at the chrono and such, and i just have a standard screw in tank.
