What compressed air system would be the best for me to run on my minimag? I have been using c02 for four years and i finally decided to buy a scuba fill kit and compressed air tank. Which is the best system for me to run on my minimag? Thanks alot

As paintbattler said, it really doesn't matter that much which system you get. It's a question of preference and how much you are willing to spend.

sizewise:

you'll get like 800 shots from 68cui at 3000psi
and around 1200 from 68cui at 4500psi

everything bigger than 68 cui is too bulky IMO (but that's just me)

If you have the extra bucks, you might want to consider an Air America system. I love my Apoc. It has served me many many fills without problems, and it is adjustable (which will be useful if you get a retro valve). The reg is a monster, and it is very easy to maintain. Check ebay... you can get some nice tanks there for quite a bit cheaper than buying one new (even if you are going to buy a cheaper preset like PMI or Crossfire)

If you only have a stock valve (non r/t0 go with the PMI or CrossFire systems, preset, a 68/88 3000psi, but if you have a R/T valve, it will still work but an adjustable system, such as the AGD Flatline would be a better choice...

Why would the flatline be a better choice?

because it will let you dial in the resposive-ness or kick in an R/T &Retro valve.......

Any good adjustabe tank will let you do that though.

The flatline, however, is cheaper than most adjustable systems. You can find it for around $200 if you look around :)

But any tank will work. Just stay away from the Conquest systems. They are more LP oriented, and I believe Russ was the one who said they don't work well over 650 PSI. They are good tanks, just not for mags.

I agree completely. Disreagarding price, however, I haven't really seen much difference in performace between the Flatline and other tanks, like the Air America systems or the Nitro Ducks...ect.

Well, I love my Crossfire 68CI 3000PSI Steel Tank, I can get around 700 shots off my mag whitch is ok, but im so trigger happy I have to get it refilled every 2 or 3 games.. Got it for 120 bucks. http://www.crossfireinc.com
or u could get one of those frikin expensive ajustable tanks that my mom would never let me buy..

Why, exactly, won't your mom let you buy adjustable tanks? Just wondering.
