Wow, that was really, really cool.

It is sad that I will NEVER have true high-speed Internet access where I live, and I only live 15 minutes from a town of 20,000, and 45 minutes north of one of the largest cities in the U.S. For areas with low populations, the U.S. has horrible access to modern technologies.

Get wireless internet. Pretty decently fast and surely one of the towns nearby you has a tower.

I knew it. It was only a matter of time that computers would deem us inferior and begin to kill us of. :tard:

That's it! I was thinking Braveheart, Mohicans, or Patriot (of all things). Thanks.

...And the book is a hundred times better than the movie. (Always is...)

I think I'll buy two or three superhuman computers as indentured servants and have them go to work for me. :p

I found the fact that soon China will be the number 1 English speaking country in the world fairly jaw dropping.

Unfortunately the company is unreliable, has very limited range, and is the only game "in town." I plan on building a new house soon, and their coverage area is very small and won't cover most of the areas I'm looking at (plus, I'd like to get away from them). Besides, I don't consider 256 Kb/s max high speed. I want a FAT pipeline. :D

I'm hoping the cell phone technology will catch up enough to high speed that I can switch to that someday. Of course, then there's the problem of getting a signal of 2 bars at best most of the time...
