This is the same thing I posted on PBN and fusionowners.org, I thought I would share it here as well.

For those of you that do not know me, I started a the web site fusionowners.org in July of last year just shortly after purchasing and falling in love with my fusion marker (one of the pre release fusions). Since then I have talked with the guys of Dangerous Power quiet a bit, they are some very good guys that truly care about their customers. A few months ago I contacted DP to see if I could purchase a complete non anodized fusion that I could send off for a custom anodizing. After talking with them they decided that because Fusion Owners had been so helpful to them they wanted to send me a non anodized body for free. I was very excited to say the least. A little while latter I received in the mail a box with a complete non anodized fusion (no internals) and a 25bps board for my current fusion, to say that I was happy/excited would be a huge understatement. The next couple of times I talked to them, they told me they wanted to send me a color kit as well to help show their appreciation as well, I tried to tell them what they sent was enough but they insisted. I have never asked for anything from them, but they have been very nice to me and this is my public thank you to them. I hope that Fusion Owners will continue to help them with support and on improving the fusion and all of their future products for years to come.

After DP told me about the non anodized fusion, I contacted Grunt Bull Anodizing about getting this fusion anodized to really show off how good the fusion can look. I sent it to them as soon as I got it in to have a black/red acid wash and for a polish finish. I think they did a incredible job with the finish and the anodizing. Then again, I am a fan of acid wash and splash finishes, even though its not the "in" thing anymore. ;)

I would like to thank GBA for doing such a good job also, anything else that I have anodized in the future will be going back to you guys. You are the best!

Here is a picture I took of the anodized parts after getting them back from GBA.

Finally, here is the finished products. I sent the anodized parts to Dangerous Power 2 weeks ago because they wanted to install the internals and the color kit (I think they just wanted to see it in person though ;)). I was just getting ready to leave my shop today when UPS showed up with my fusion today. So after all this time, here are the pictures of my finished and the first custom anodized fusion!

All of the pictures can be found at the link below (note, I took these pictures quickly and they do not do the anodizing justice!).

how do they shoot compared to the ion

how do they shoot compared to the ion

They shoot very very nice compared to a ion. They have very little kick, the trigger has little side to side play and the trigger pull is very smooth. I shoot mine over all of the high end markers on the market. If you get a chance to shoot one, do it, you will fall in love.

Easily one of the most over-done acid wash jobs ever but it still looks good.
