Yes. They're called "less lethal" weapons for a reason. Tragic incident, but standing on a sidelines watching a riot in progress is probably not the best idea.

I saw that too. Another piece of PR crap from the city. I would be entertained if they actually did it, and then someone fell through one of the crappy caps, and sued the city.

I saw that story also. They are likewise throwing fits over the police in Houston using their tasers. So I guess those PD's should just go back to deadly force straight out. :rolleyes:
