Problem with search feature

I have a problem with the search feature. The problem is the less than 4 letter thing. I want to be able to search for RT but it wont let me so i was wondering if it could be fixed so it could search for atleast 2 letters to accomadate the word "RT". Thanx.

yeah i hate that search feature for the same exact problem. I can never get it to work, I guess I just dont know how to use it. :rolleyes:

Yes, that can be a problem… and more so with 3 letter words since it happens more often.

What I do is work around that problem. Think of other words that may be used in conjunction with your topic search, and use those. It may take a couple tries, but you can still get the information you are looking for. (I know, because I have been asked on more than one occasion how I find stuff on AO… LOL) Often times it is knowing the right question to ask that will get you the correct answers or results.

But I agree, that 4-letter word limitation can be a pain.

the problem i have is if i type automag and not automag rt it comes up with too many to look through. even worse is if u wanna search for automag rt pro becuase it has 2 words that it can't find

Hmmm try "Automag RTPro" or "AutomagRT"

I will see if this is a setting I can change or not. It allows me to do somethings - and not others.
