I'm about to buy another 3rd generation F-body.
1992 Camaro RS
5.0 TBI
Auto
T-tops.

The best part. Its only 300$. The body is in incrediable condition. Only 100,000 miles.

The reason its 300:
Interior smells like crap. (leaking t-top, mold)
Trans fluid is over filled.
AND
the engine wont start (ignition problem)

I'm so happy :D

i'd call that a deal... that stuff is easy to fix ... getting it running if it is in time and has good compression, is easy , air/fuel/spark is all you need.

buy new seals for the t-tops and new carpet for the interior, ... you got a good ride ...

My plan is to fix it up and sell it. I already have a decent car. (1990 firebird)
As far as I can tell, the reason it won't start because the key is shot. Just to make sure it starts tho, I plan on hot wiring it.
I'm just going to rip out the carpet and steam clean it. (And the seats)
I'm most likely to put an open air intake on it cause the stock one is trash.

That reminds me of something.....I had to gut mine because of mice.....It was in storage for 10 years.

BTW - If it leaked and there is mold/you want to fix it right buy new carpet and seats(or have the seats redone). Of course it would probably be cheaper to do it your way but mold is a nasty thing. My grandpa is an upholsterer so it was the way to go for me.

Nice firebird. The body looks incrediable on it.
Heres my red firebird:

After taking out the carpet, I realized it was beyond saving. Its already in the trash.

I'd love to find a 3rd Gen Camaro that cheap.

Here's my cousins '83 (though it's sitting in my yard because his landlord got pissed), we just dropped a 350 in it but it isn't running yet:

You got a great deal. I paid 2150 for mine a few years back when it still looked like this.

Now it's beat to heck sitting in my driveway. I keep telling myself I'm going to drop a carbutarted 350 and a 4 speed in it and give it a Dukes Of Hazzard paint job. Hasn't happend yet.
