I was thinking about picking up a Q-Loader to use with my mag, though I had a question about it. I wanted to run the hose to the bottom part of the feed tube on the mag. And put the plug at the top of the tube (reverse of what it is). Would that work very well?

I was wondering because where the tube sits on the body, it's longer at the top of the breech, than on the bottom of the breech. Would it still shoot smoothly, or will there be feeding problems? I have zero experience with the Q-Loader, and just recently picked up the Automag, and also, don't have any sort of hopper (except a BE 50 ball). So this might help out a little more. Thanks for any help ahead of time.

Yes, what you are attempting is quite popular. However, there are 2 ways to do this. The easy way is to get a long powerfeed plug so the ramp is aligned properly. The nicer way is to cut down the feedneck so the short powerfeed plug fits correctly. Heres a pic of my project still in progress.

You can also use a Warp Right body.

Yeah, I've thought about getting a new body, but I'm a little tight for money right now. So I gotta stick with the body I have right now.
