One of claimed features of the tank is that you can unscrew it from reg. Is this really all that different than not using traditional blue loctite on reg threads?

yeah it will be like normal, just use blue loctite and heat up a little to unscrew

or it could be an oring seal like in cataylana co2 tanks, loctite is not needed if there is an oring seal in it will lock its self and will come undone with enough force

Yes it is easy to unscrew the tank form the reg and no you DO NOT EVER USE LOC-TITE on tank to reg threads. All you do is screw it on till its snug, when filled the pressure will hold it on.

You do not need loctite on the Micro-Max Flow.

When theres pressure in the tank, it's nearly impossible to unscrew.

Without pressure, it can be unscrewed by hand.

If you manage to unscrew it with pressure in it it has two very large vent holes and will dump the air FAR before the tank gets close tot he end of the threads.

I love mine.
