well, in a recent pakage lot i purchased this HPA tank was included. I think its an Air America 114-4500 just because the size of it. It was last hydro'd in 1999 according to the label however its got the most peculiar reg on it. like i've never seen before. Not the conventional screw into ASA type reg. Its got a hi and low output screw and output hole for a line i suppose.
Anyway I dont know what to do with this thing to resell it(or keep it since i just sold my other tank) Any help would be appreiciated since i dont know what this tank is.
I know i need to get it hydro'd at the local proshop.
thanks.

I might be too quick, but could you post a pic? We'll probably have an easier time telling you what it is if we could see it. If you purchased it on eBay, let's have the listing number and that would probably do just as good.

The ebay auction was non descriptive- i mainly bought it for a gun that was in the pakage.

Well, the pic clears it up. It's an Air America RAPTOR reg. Good reg, but if it didn't come with a mount good luck. I'd probably send the tank out for hydro and get a new reg so the shop can do a reg swap. It's VERY hard to find RAPTOR parts kits anymore and if the tank hasn't been rehydroe'd since 99 it definately needs one.

just my opinion being a past owner of one.

The Air America Raptor was a neat reg, however it was heavy and had no output gauge (it is adjustable). I would not simply assume that it is a 4500PSI tank though.

it says 4500 on the reg and tank so im fairly certain it is. This is just using the duck method though.

If it says it on the tank I would trust it. I was just concerned you were assuming or it only said it on the reg and not the tank.

Those regs were great. I do have some drops that fit it too. It's a Mag Valve...I'll take it if you want to get rid of it...
