Cutting a long pre-story short, started playing in 92, bought some markers that were rubbish, got a 'Mag, loved it, kept it, stopped playing in 96.

Started playing again in 2002, was freaked out by the marker scene, with AGD no longer #1. Upgraded my old 'mag with all the latest toys and then made the mistake of looking at an advert in the markers forum by Tuna :hail: , for a gorgeous fade anno E-Mag. Bought it, had it shipped over and then treated it to all the ups (ULE, X-Valve, 3.0 s/w etc). I loved that gun.

Stopped playing in 2004 and took the difficult decision to sell my beloved E-Mag.

Got married, moved house, got a new job.

Jan 2007, started playing again - bought myself a Nexus 'cocker (booo!) and then happened to spot the guy I sold my E-Mag to on a forum. Had a chat - he still has it, isn't using it and will let me have it back for £100! :)

Package arrived today and was opened with trepidation, it was mint when I sold it and I had horrible images of some beat up old dog emerging from the bubble wrap. But I unwrapped it and behold, it was beautiful!

Some tiny bits of wear on the anno, but looks almost as great as it did 3 years ago. :headbang:

Now to get it X-modded and the 'cocker will be becoming a backup!

Beautiful mag! It was really nice of that guy to let you have it back for 100 pounds. He probably could have got alot more for it!

Yep, that's the equivalent of $200 (just the marker, I already had the flatline - although he did throw in the Lucky barrel as well). I dropped the seller a PM last night to say thanks and got this reply:

Im glad your happy, I definately look after my guns, the reason I offered it to you at a price you couldnt really say no to, was that I want the gun to be used, not sitting in bits in a box.

Certainly nice of him :)

Think it orginally cost me about $900 from Tuna and that was before I added the X-valve & ULE.

Russ - love that colour too, funnily enough it links into the story. When I first got my E-Mag, one of my friends loved it so much he hunted one down as well. This is a pic of both of ours from 03 with some ups in place.

Nice thing about both of these is that they came as new with ULE'd rails:

He sold his at the same time I did and needless to say is pining for it now he's seen mine again! Unfortunately I doubt he'll be lucky enough to buy his back so cheaply.
