HPA questions

Hey, I finally got a change to use my adjustable Nitro Duck tank today. Besides the mystery leak it works so I'm happy for the most part. My question is this. I turned the output all the way up. My guage only said something like 850 or maybe 900 psi. (it goes from 800 to 1000 so it's hard to be exact) Is this the max for the older megaregs or is there some way for me to get it higher? I would like to be able to get it to 1000psi+ if I could.

if you google your regs name you should be able to come up with the specs of it. i just googled mine and found that my reg goes to 1000 psi. if you turn it up too high you risk bending the reg pin and those are hard to find for non production items. luckily i found a replacement for mine. good luck

Remeber too that most gauges are horribly inaccurate.

Why you feel the need for a 1000+ PSI output? Is this on a Mag?

Yeah its on my minimag with an x-valve.

So I figured out where my reg is leaking. Basically it is acting as if my tank isn't all the way into the reg. Anyone have experience working on Nitro Duck MegaRegs? I thought maybe I was missing some type of o-ring but there is nowhere to put on either on the tank on in the reg.
