AO T-shirts

Hey I know that there are those jerseys to order and stuff, but I had the thought we should have something else also to buy thats cheaper, and makes it so we can identify each other when we play. I was thinking like an AO t-shirt with our AO Handle on the back or something. Just some thoughts, plz comment, and if any one can do something like this plz do.

Since i dont, someone else will have to.

And if you do, i can get them printed at a good rate. (its nice having friends who work as screen printers.)

Yeah if some one could figure something out it'd be awesome, I just thought it would be a good idea. Plus with a t-shirt you can basicly wear it anywhere then get people asking too so ur forced to tell them and get them all interested lol. If anyone has these capabilities it should be undergone in my belief.

Any way they could be long-sleeve t-shirts? That way I wouldnt need to wear sleeves over it.

I'm down for that. Big AO logo on the back little one the front left breast maybe or the AGD logo on front.

Black, white, olive - short and long sleeve. Just my $.02.

Either way, I'd be down for at least one in XL.

I was going to try and get a good live trace off of some high res logos.

That, and after we get a design cooked up, we'll need approval from whover owns the design. That AO logo is probably Tom's, as well as the AGD Lions and whatnot.

After we get his consent, we can print them up. If we dont, i understand, and it stops there.

Because from what i hear, Animal was given two logos, and thats it . If we'd want any more, there would be a very large setup charge.

Idk how they print jerseys, so that might be logical...

If i'm getting my own shirts printed, i can get the artwork myself, design the shirts myself, show AO to see what they like, i can add logos and whatnot, without having to pay a company to do it.

When i get a final design done, i'll probably be paying for the t-shirts, and ink. Seeing as i'll most likely go help print them myself.

That way, i can get them to the AO community at a lower price.

No offense to anyone involved, but the new AO jerseys are weak. And compared to before, with all the different artwork available, there just nothing special.

I realize that JAM's AO-STATE logos are gone, (though i've contacted him about possibly getting them back). So what we have to work with, is whatever YOU GUYS have stored on your computers. Beemer has some, and whoever else does too. Send them to me, and we'll put some things together.

T shirts are a great idea ...put me down for two.
But how about some hats!!!!!! you know baseball caps and even some skullies. any way of getting some of them made also?

Ok, so a few minutes with Illustrator, and I came up with this: That's a ZIP file (http://www.drumcharacter.com/temp/AO_logo-copy.zip), containing an Adobe Illustrator CS2 file, recreating the AO logo. Font has been converted to outlines (and tweaked to match the original design, since I didn't have that exact font). Sorry, but if you don't have Illustrator (or something that can open an AI file), you're s.o.l, and probably shouldn't be designing stuff for screenprinting anyway :rolleyes:
