okay so i just got my max flo micro and a tank today in the mail, but the reg is unscrewed from the tank.

first: is it safe to do it myself just to screw the reg onto the tank or should i take it to my field? and do i need loctite?

second: the two safe disc on the reg is definitely wrong (at least one of them) the top one is a 7500 psi disc, and the bottom one is a 5000 psi..... what is the correct disc for max flo micro?!?

thanks in advance!

Yes it is safe to screw into the tank. They are made to come off for transporting. Don't use locktite. No sealers are to be used on these threads.

If the setup is used for 4500psi, then the 7500psi burst disk is correct. IF you are using 3000psi then 5000psi is the proper burst disk.

nooo! what i meant is, on this reg i own right now, there are two disc, the top is is a 7500 and the bottom is a 5000, its suppose to be like 7500 and 1800 or something, one is for the low output pressure

So hang on.

You're asking about your current reg, or the micro max-flo?

If you're talking about the micro: they aren't backwards. (top disk should be 7.5k and bottom should be 1.8k)

Are you sure it doesn't say 1.5?

im talking bout the max flo micro, the two discs are 7.5k on top and 5k on bottom.

so its suppose to be 7.5k on top and 1.8k on bottom?!?!

Yeah that's correct, should be 1.8 on the bottom, for the output.

Unless you have the ultra-Hp version...lol

I have a Maxflo micro... it should be a 1.8 on the bottom. Just screw the reg on tightly, you'll be fine... No locktite unless you never wanna get it off.
