Once again, my photography skills are seeping to the surface. The OD green is not as yellow as it shown in the pics. The lightest color in the grip panels are really close to the green acid wash. But for some reason, it just looks more "yellow". ???

Custom milled Tac One body by Luke, Tac one rail also milled by luke. Acid wash by GBA, OD Green and Black.

Getting this from GBA about the middle of next week. Will post up better pics of the finished gun then.

The rails were milled smooth, but still function as rails. And, on the next one, there are several other areas that I will have milled off, just to smooth out the shape. Also plan on putting on these grip panels.

Bought it in the BST section, and I really dont remember how much. They are available, and there is also one on ebay, if I remember correctly.

This thing will look better all put together. I know that it is sorta hard to see things now, and I only have one side to show. But thanks for the comments. Any comments on the milling that I had done? Does it look "nekkid"?

My memory is sorta sketchy. I got old timers disease. If I bought a set from you, then yes, they are your old ones. :D Only got one Emag that is in flux right now, so, only have bought one set.

Nice! I really like the black/green acid wash. It looks cool and sort of fits in with the whole Tac1/scenario thing, but doesn't scream it like a camo finish might. :)

Sweet looking, more and more I think that sendingmy first gun to GBA was the right place to go.

Your gun is an awsome combination of colors for acid wash.

Thanks. And, thru no fault of Todd and Gruntbull, they dont match the gun. My mistake. I was not clear on what I thought that I wanted. Gruntbull gave me exactly what I asked for, and OD green/black acid wash dust finish. They look as if they did a good job, altho I dont have it back yet, but I am sure that it will be as good as their reputation says it should be. When I get it all put together, then I will post pics of the finished gun.

very nice. so what did they charge you for annodizing? i have an emag now thanks to Mann so now it needs annodizing and i was thinking an acid finish. i sent in three quotes and no response so i dont even have a ballpark figure. thanks

To the extreme, dude. I like it. I bet dudes with E-Tacs are gonna start doing something like this to their guns (^^Yep, I was right^^). I'm diggin' the acid wash ano too, even though I'm not one for acid-wash myself; that's one of the better ones I've seen in awhile. I don't know 'bout those grips though. I'd get some black or OD panels from Luke, or just go with the stock ones. Looking foward to seeing this piece put together soon. :headbang:

Sorry, It would not be gentelmanly of me to comment of my "specific" deal with GBA. I can say this tho, I have had a half a dozen or so guns ano'd and GBA has been the most reasonable so far. They have several examples of Acid wash on their website, so you can get a feel for waht they can do, if that helps any. Shoot Todd an Email, PMs are not the best way to get in contact with him, he's very busy now, got a new tax deduction running around.

The Tac One bodies are just screaming for customization. I had already had this idea before the Mini Tac came out, but I just did not have the resources or the matereials to to do it earlier. And, if the grips dont "work" with this marker, then I will find something somewhere that works better

LoL. Never really thought about it that way. :D

p.s. I agree, that is one good looking mag setup.

p.p.s. Hm... Industrial look. Make me think of a well used bulldozer[or any other heavy equipment]

Nice anno and milling. The grips don't match the rest of the marker though.
