Does anyone know why this is going for so much on ebay? Ive never heard of an eclipse kit, but it just looks like a slightly milled rail and a bunch of nice annoed parts?? Im just curious.

Hi,

The Eclipse Kits are old school. They were around in the mid to late 90s. It was the basically the upgrade for anodized parts at the time. IIRC, Smart Parts was the or one of lead distributor(s) in the US at the time as well. The Eclipse kits had some really awesome color combos. The only anodizing package that I can think of that came close was Pro Team Products. A good friend of mine has a PTP anno parts for his minimag from way back in the day. I think he told me it cost almost 400 at the time!

I can't figure why anyone would pay that for an eclipse kit. I picked one up for $60 bucks on Ebay,
I think you could get an entire marker done for less than $250

I sold 2 of those kits on full guns for less than that guy got for just the kit alone!!!
