I own a Tac-one and i got the air hose factory setup with steelbraided line. its not in the way but i want to find a way of running it thats less unsightly and can still take out the x valve easily

Im just wondering how everyone else has thiers setup. pictures would be nice, or just a really good explanation

i cant seem to upload the image of it, says its not a valid image even though its a jpg and only 40kb

You could run two lines.

One from the ASA into the bottom of the forgrip, the other from the top of the forgrip to the valve.

That is what I did on my automag (now pneumag)

The hose going from the asa to the valve is 5 inches. If I ever get a 4 inch piece then it won't go above the powerfeed.

If you use marcroline then you can have it as short as needed. If you put a quick disconnect like mine then you don't need any slack to remove the valve

thats a good idea i hadnt thought of the quick disconnect on the valve. i think im gonna go that route

It won't fit on the valve side because of the mil-spec rails. I installed mine on the foregrip side, and it was still a very tight fit but worked.

this is why i hate ss hose but ihave to use them in order to run 1000 psi to my valve. does anyone know where i could get some macroline rated for more than 1000 psi?

One thing if you run SS hose with a quick disconnect make sure the hose is long enough to give you a little slack ( notice most stainless set ups have a loop) so that the QD isn't in a bind and hard to operate

I use this (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=205578) on my Tac One. Works great.
