is there any reason i would need to change my on/off to the thinner pin one with the quad-ring? i'm using e-mag lowers, but my valve has the stock .750 rt on/off. thanks in advance!

The pin diameter is the same for all retro/emag valves. The only difference is that the emag pin is only .712" long instead of .750" long. The quad oring has a more definate contact point closer to the edge and is softer. This allows smoother more consistent operation for the emag solenoid.

You should buy a new emag pin and quad oring. The rest of your on-off assembly is fine.

It may not work consistently with the longer pin.

Your gun HAS to be shooting lousy with a .750 pin...change it. ;)

mine wouldn't even shoot with a .750, it kept going full auto

mine wouldn't even shoot with a .750, it kept going full autoFull auto is usually associated with shorter pins. The longer ones usually prevent the chamber from filling with air properly due to the pin always partially blocking the air inlet.
