Hi gang,

I have a stock Level 7 Automag (Ole' Faithful) which I have always run on remote. I actually needed to try to play with it on a directly connected HPA tank yesterday. When I screwed the tank into the bottle adapter (standard position on the back above the grip,) I found that it was really hard to screw the tank all the way in, and so the tank was venting pretty freely after the pin valve was activated. I had to resort to going back on remote, which worked fine.

Any ideas how I fix this?

I just saw this same question in another thread. Don't remember which one, but I think the answer was that the pin in the pin valve was too long.

Apparently that happens from time to time.

One solution was to shorten the pin inside your asa (bottle adapter) with a dremel.

Another solution was to add a drop with an on/off

Another was to get a new asa.

I just did some upgrading to my stock level 7 and found that it was much more comfortable to mount the asa under the grip. I would imagine that having your hp above the grip is a little bulky.

Anyways good luck.
