FBM has hooker style press feeds that they do for older autocockers. I'm thinking they could do the same thing for an x-mag vert feed module. Is that possible? I asked them and they said:

"[...]Do you know what the measurement of the hole is that the feed
is pressed into? You might be able to modify an Autococker press feed to fit.[...]"

Any thoughts?

Otherwise would you thread the vert for a new feed neck?

rrfireblade (jay) does this mod. the work on my xmag is flawless.

Since the stock feedneck is pressed in, you need to wrestle that baby out. The CCM feednecks can be cut and pressed in like the stock. I have done a few of my own recently. I didn't find it all the difficult. RRfireblade was the first to come up with this, as far as I know.
I have not seen the hooker style ones, so I can't comment on that.

What model feednecks are people pressing in?

Does anybody actually thread the X-mag module, or is everybody pressing feednecks in?

I don't see how the XMag breech could be threaded. It has to be pressed. You need a CCM feedneck as long as your stock feed.

So you're using a (non threaded) autococker feedneck pressed in?

Because as far as I know every other model is threaded, correct?

No, you have to cut the neck to fit the breech. It's very careful work, last thing you want to do is scratch a beautiful xmag breech.
