TWO DIVISIONS THIS MONTH ! ! Thanks to our fearless Leader Tom Kaye and the enduring overseeing AO Mod staff who ponied up $$ to help cover costs of prizes (in this case t shirts) So . . .

Aprils MOTM will also include an "Old Skool , Classic Mag competition ! ! Dust 'em off ,shine 'em up and let's see some Old Skool Mag Repp'in. Looking for anything falling under the guise of Old Skool , presumably lots of SS parts. :D but that will be open to interpretation. Could be rare , unique or just plain old. ;)

Please state which division you want to be in (Open or Classic) in case it could go either way.

Round 4 ! !

"MAG" of the month contest...that means MAGS of any kind, only

I want to see some kick butt mags ! ! !

I will do it every month there seems to be continued interest , voting in the last week of each month, new contest on the first-ish of each month.

Near the end of the month I will narrow it down to a Final 5 (or how ever many I think are worthy) and open a public voting poll to pick the winner for each division.

Rules:

1) Must be your Mag and NOT for sale during the month of the contest.

2) I don't care how great or sucky your pictures are, it's a gun contest not a photogenic prize.

3) 2 pictures MAX , NO GIANT WALLPAPER sized pictures....post a link if you need to. I'm the only one voting at this time so no need to 'impress' the masses....yet.

**This is the code to resize and thumbnail your pictures. Copy and paste and add the link where it says to.**

<a href="Picture URL Here"><img src="Picture URL Here" width="600" height="450"></img></a>
If you can't figure out how to host your pics , I will get them hosted for you.

4) One gun entered per month

5) No text posts ...PM all questions to who ever you want to ask what ever you want to ask.

I will be judging on what I think is cool or worthy ...

I'm going to elaborate on this a little

Open Class MOTM :

Total package , as in , everything matching. Don't have a custom anno'd gun and then something silly like a mismatched feedneck clamp.

All parts in harmony with all others. For instance , if you have a CF foregrip , better be some CF somewhere else. Or like a thrasher 'type' rail w/ an Organic (DW) Body = :nono:

Uniqueness , if there are 5 DW bodied , Vert framed , X valved etc . . . you better make yours standout somehow.

X Factor. This is that intangible quality where a marker is just . . . right. Maybe it's just perfectly clean , maybe flawless flow , I don't know only that you know it when you see it.

Lastly , I'd really like to see full functioning markers , those will get priority over the same parts just stacked up for a picture.

These will be the points the will set 2 seemingly similar markers apart.

OldSkoolers :

Some of the above will apply but additionally . . .

Looking for anything falling under the guise of Old Skool , presumably lots of SS parts. :D but that will be open to interpretation. Could be rare , unique or just plain old. ;)

Prizes:

Again from KRUGER : I would like to offer a set of wood grips as a prize for the MOTM winner. It must be either 45 frame or Emag frame, and my choice of wood. I would only require a pic of the marker that the the winner wants them for, so I can judge what wood to use.

I may offer this for each month, but we will see how it goes.

Airgun Designs Lion Stickers (probably a few).

MOTM/GOTM T-Shirt. It will be one size only , XL with this design on the pocket and large Automags.org w/ the AGD daisy on the back.....

http://img77.imageshack.us/img77/4350/motmtshirt0oq.jpg

Yeah , That's Right. :)

Anything "sponsers" want to add at my discression (contact me first please)

That's it....GO ! ! !

Jay.

Classic catergory please.

My Purple Pumpmag.

The rail, feedplug, and barrel are Purple from Agd. Also not shown I have the purple agd siterail and back bottle mount.
The body is a polished limited run highrise powerfeed that AGD sold a few years ago. I believe they said one of 50 or so. The va is a kapp angel 15* with the locating tab removed. The foregip is also a kapp piece. The triggerframe and drop are both Benchmark parts. The on/off is a Cp. The revy is purple also. But unfortuantly darker. The valve is a minimag valve with a ans backhalf and a ans velocity adjustor.

<a href="http://www.jayloo.com/files/pics/40000/purplepumpmag.JPG"><img src="http://www.jayloo.com/files/pics/40000/purplepumpmag.JPG" width="600" height="450"></img></a>

My Classic MOTM Entry:

SideStock PUMPMAG

This is my primary marker that I've been shooting for the past 2 years with Omega Sector for the OSC and NSA tournaments, and most recently at the SoCalAO meet in January 2007.

It used to be a minimag powerfeed body PumpMag but I just converted it this month to Stockclass for the NSA Stickfeed Tourney coming up on April 15 (just in time for Classic MOTM!). I also changed the PumpKit from a G1 to a G2 version. It pumps really smooth like sliding on silk.

68 Classic, Intelliframe w/intellifeed to 12V Warp. Level 10 installed with Retro On/Off. Thumb velocity adjuster. KAPP Rhino drop, Check it on/off, ANS Phase II vertical adaptor, AGD gas-thru foregrip. 16" Dye Alluminum barrel.
Why should you vote for mine? My first Mag, extra credit for the old skool intellifeed to the 12V revy, and because this Mag gets some serious usage (See action pic below). Since I got this gun working, all of my other "back-up" markers have been neglected...the Mag is just too reliable...

The gun doesnt look all that great but i didnt have time to fix her up with some new parts. This is how i got it, and its oldskool alright... Valve # CF05702 and Promag Serial # 194. Came with this brass barrel, don't know what kind of barrel it is.

This marker was modified by John Sosta for better recharge rate, it has the 8 hole mod for better airflow. I came with a certificate dated 1993.

I don't know where this would go or if it's even allowed. Classic category, Some of the parts are pretty old.

I put these twin pistols together so I could run around the field like Neo. Although I've found my accuracy goes WAY down when I'm trying to shoot 2 guns at the same time. Originally I fabbed a bracket to 'link' the 2 guns together for reloading, but took it off after I kept snagging stuff with the brackets and found that I could hold both guns easily with one hand for reloading.

Both are in the classic category, not much, but i love them none the less.

Almost forgot the technical terms for these guns:
The classic is a Classicus Originaum and the RT is a RTous-intelliframe Originaum

I apologize for the picture quality, the sunlight wasnt cooperating at all so most of the pics

My classic mag with only a sight rail and air fittings added after it was bought from the factory. It had the old cast zinc frame, but was replaced with a carbon fibre grip since the black coating of the old grip discintigrated. Other than that no upgrades! It is just fine as is.
As you can see in the pic, the air fitting is looped as a modification to keep liquid CO2 out of the valve :)

I take pride that this gun is just fine as is. No new barrel, level 10 or anything like that. Just a foamy and a revy to prevent chopping paint. It is still as enjoyable to shoot as it would have been almost 10 years ago
