View Full Version : back in paintball can i still play with a chopped guard?

will the guys at my local field let me play with a chopped trigger guard? i had a friend tell me no!!! oof i live in southern california. been playing with a small group of friends in a nice little field lots of big rocks and trees and stuff, but were planning on goin to sc village in a about a week. can't wait to go!! http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u217/raligh_bucket/P1010225.jpg

local field name would help ? other than that pick the phone up and call them for a genuine verified response directly from the source.

if they require a guard, get a thin strip of metal and bend it around into a guard and use the frame mounting screw to attach it :p

Where in socal are you located?

I was under the impression that your vertical asa and expansion chamber would act as a trigger guard. I mean they are guarding your trigger correct?

I have an old splashed classic with a cut guard. I have played all over with it, and never heard a word about it.

Im from Socal as well. SC village are upright A-holes on this. If your gun looks to real no play. If you dont have a trigger guard, no play.

Instead, go to Jungle Island. Where they will be more leanient (sp?)

Paperclip ftw. I reallly don't see why you have to have one but w/e. Just make a BS one and you should be fine. Even a thin band of duct tape is a trigger guard.

we tried that, it didnt fly, so we went to pendleton, no knock on velocity, just not good for our private games

aww. ok i've been to camp pendalton once but I don't remember what it was like. velocity is the closest to me.

personally I support Jungle Island for rec play and splat for speedball :)
