Just a quick message to let you know that the HALO has been released for retail sale. Those of you in DFW can get yours today at Paintball and More in Euless (817) 282-3636. They should be popping up around the country in the next few days.

Have fun with them!

Thank God! I hope Predator gets them quickly. I've had mine pre-ordered for a while now.

Really don't have much desire to pick one up....the 130 is much better put towards my extreme........I'm happy with my warp/revy combo.

I bought one yesterday. I am very happy with it. The only down side is the weight...it is noticably heavier than a Revolution; but the benefits surely outweigh the weight problem (pun intended).

Mine performs as well as the prototype I have been playing with for the past month in the paintball store.

Go get one.

this might be a dumb question but did they ever release how it works yet?

How many paintballs will the Halo hold?

The literature accompanying the HALO indicate that it will hold 180 paintballs. There are very detailed schematics on their website and enclosed with the hopper indicating its method of operation.

HALO should be a nice addition to my Warp :)

should i buy a revvy or save up for the Halo? i mean i don't really need it too much cause i don't shoot that fast. Also which one is better warp or Halo? (don't say halo and warp combo)

ben_JD

Punk, the Warpfeed and the HALO serve two different purposes, so a direct comparison is not really in order.

If you really don't shoot that fast and don't intend to, then a Warpfeed/Revolution combination might be more suited to your style of play (and cheaper than a HALO/warpfeed combination by about $75).

I typically don't shoot that fast, but like to be able to in a jam; hence I am using the HALO/Warpfeed combination.

I finally had time to play around with the HALO last night and have to say that I am very impressed by the build quality.

You should really check out the newish review on Warpig.com.

OK, my Warpfeed isn't in until tomorrow, but can someone give me some insight as to the fit between the HALO and the Warpfeed?

ben_JD

I shall answer my own question...the HALO fits perfectly into the Warpfeed (after you loosen the bolts and re-tighten).

EXCELLENT!

HALO. Yippie. It's like parking a bus on top of your marker.

It's not really bigger than a revvy...just a little fatter in places.

Anybody get a production model yet and use it?

Yes. It works like a charm, though a little loud and heavy.
