Here is a pic taken at our last practice. Our player tripped on his way to the snake.

Yep, like a torpedo. There was quite a bit of dirt in the barrel after that one. Luckily the ground was soft as the frost was coming out.

Wow I haven never seen anyone plant their gun like that. Looks like he got a face full of tank too.

Lucky he didn't snap his barrel off, looks painful, and nice capture on the camera mans part.

Thank god he was wearing his mask, that's the only reason i ever wear one, cause i'm afraid of that happening.

I honestly was dreading that picture though, i figured he had bent his barrel or something when i read he tripped.

I did that last november playing on a slick and muddy field with no cleats. When I went down, the gun planted, and my facemask went right into my halo. Got a small cut. Amazingly, the Halo, the barrel, and the RT/pro I was shooting all survived.

Guess who has cleats now?

no cleats=bad news ..earlier this year i was running up the snake and hit a mud patch (wasn't wearing my cleats) I went completely horizontal in the air and fell straight on my back ..none of my pods cracked

not as bad as the pic a proff showed me of one of our baseball team getting hit by a pitch(he snapped the pic maybe a 1/500th of a second after the ball started to leave the guys face......his face is flat...)

i think that is how a friend broke a J&J ceramic, either that or ended up smacking into a tree really hard
