That's why I always feel invincible driving a car. I don't think I'd survive that on the motorcycle. Good to hear everyone is all right.

heh, it's a Ford.

In other news, a guy wiped out on a sportster right in front of me yesterday. Apparently jeans and a t-shirt aren't the best clothes to prevent road rash..oh and the bike had some dings.

He's probably talking about the rear axle/differential... what kinda engine does it have in it? If it's a 5.0 I'd buy the heads off of ya for a reasonable price! :) :)

quite lucky. Pulled a guy out of a car two nights ago that rolled a malibu. Would have lived if his belt was on but his body partially rolled out the window and the car rolled over him.

Nice vehicle though. Looks just like mine.... except for all the smushed up parts.

with prices like that and pyro wanting the rear end, definatally would have been worth it to buy it back from the insurance company, get some money from you guys, pull the alum wheels off, scrap the shell, scrap the wheels seperate. Bam, you've made $700ish

No kidding! I think it's almost always worth it to buy them back from the insurance companies, although you've gotta have the room to store a wrecked vehicle and the tools/knowhow to part it out.

I bought my "totaled" pickup back from the insurance company for like $400 I think, and then they still paid about 7000 on top of that. Still ran and everything, had a bent rear axle, broken rear leaf spring and was crunched from the drivers side door back to the rear wheel. Picked up a door for like $100, and a cab corner/rocker panel piece off of a donor cab for about $150. Patched it up pretty well, but I've still got to do some other body work and paint it.
