Ive seen iridescent finishes on FBM, does anyone know of other places to get this finish? The pics don't illustrate the finish that well, but it has a neat ghostly haze over the base color.

Input...........

sort of like a "candy" paintjob on a car?

sort of like a "candy" paintjob on a car?

Somewhat, but not a solid hue. Somewhat like a faint "pearlescent" car finish.

Why not talk to FBM, I'm sure they'd be happy to talk to you about it / do it for you. I haven't seen any other anodizing shops with this finish.

About a year and a half ago I sent them a blue Xvalve to color match two markers to.
And a third marker to do all in black.
The two blue ones ended up two tone and the black one ended up with a blue trigger.
Almost a purple body, and the rest all matched.
I would not ever use them again. I emailed them my complaint and they have yet to respond.
Just so I dont get 400 PM's I dont have these markers anymore.

Check out PBNs Ano section. This was brought up and a number of anodizers said they can do it.
