I'm a complete 'mag n00b but I want one.

Can I grab a 68-Classic, take the stock body off and put a CF Tac-One body on it? (realizing I'll need Autococker threaded barrels for the Tac-One body)

Would I need any other parts to make this work?

Thanks all!

All valves (minus the Classic RT) are interchangeable between all AGD bodies, so you would be all set.

Great! Thanks!

EDIT: should have asked if all rails are compatible too.

When upgrading a ULE or TAC body onto a classic rail it's no problem. You can't put a twist lock body on a RT type rail.

Yes all bodies and rails are interchangeable. As mentioned, the only mag parts that are not interchangeable are the Classic RT mags. The valve, body and rail are different. So, you can put a tac1 body on a classic rail or a retro rail, and you can put an ULE body on both the classic or retro rail and you can put a stainless body on both a classic or retro rail and same with the rails.

You'll just need to remove the barrel twist lock assembly from the rail.
