im still shooting an old twist lock j&j ceramic and was wondering if anyone shoots a boomstick, or what anyone thought would be a better barrel

I have a classic mag, and I shoot a twist-lock boomstick with X-Balls. It's a pretty sweet combination. They match very well.
I went out this weekend and one-balled a kid in the facemask while he was peaking over a bunker. He was at least 100 feet away. It's not the first time I've made a shot like that, and it won't be the last.
I'm NOT saying the boomstick is the best barrel out there... but it's pretty darn good, especially with a good, matching paint. I bought mine used off eBay for $30.

The best barrel is the one you like. A barrel on a paintball gun is just a tube that guides a round ball as it accelerates.

Shop around and shoot with as many barrels as you can. find the one that you think works the best and there you go.

there is no "best barrel" you HAVE to get a good barrel/ paint match, my boom stick and pro ball platinum has proved to be the best combo for me

The stock J & J two piece on my tac one shoots straight as an arrow and has very good distance too. I usaully run marbs, but even the cheap stuff shoots well also.
